BRAD RISTER received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where his robotics research garnered national recognition and earned a National Science Foundation Research Grant. Filmmaking may not be rocket science, but it never hurts to have a rocket scientist on your team. After college, Brad’s industry experience saw him designing advanced prototype engines for electric and hybrid vehicles, creating mathematical control algorithms and design concepts for classified satellite systems, and training Air Force personnel at Cape Canaveral on space launch procedures. But while his education and early work experiences were in the sciences, Brad’s passion has always been writing. Brad co-founded Masaba Pictures to meld his love for storytelling, his fascination of nature, and his commitment to social and environmental activism. Having worked for several years in the natural history genre, The Honeysting represents Brad’s second narrative screenplay.
